REFUND POLICY:
Hotel bookings in St Petersburg, Moscow, Beijing, and Ulan-Bator, can be cancelled without fee, provided a fax or voice confirmation is sent to the St Petersburg office (phone +7 (812) 115-6433, Fax +7 (812) 268-2515) at least 5 days in advance (if more than 5 days in advance, a White Nights agent outside of Russia can be contacted).
Hotel bookings outside of the cities listed above cannot be cancelled without a minimum 25% cancellation fee. Homestay bookings and transfers, excursion bookings, can be cancelled for a $10/item fee, provided a fax or voice confirmation is sent to the St Petersburg office (phone +7 (812) 115-6433, Fax +7 (812) 268-2515) at least 3 days in advance (if more than 3 days in advance, a White Nights agent outside of Russia can be contacted).
Train tickets: Domestic train tickets within Russia itself (between cities within Russia or C.I.S. states) can be refunded for a 25% cancellation fee given 2 weeks advance notice, provided the exchange rate of the ruble has remained stable within 5% from the time that the train ticket booking was made and cancellation is made (otherwise, any loses due to exchange rate changes are deducted from the refund in addition to the refund).
The same refund policy applies to international tickets (or tickets that are formulated as part of an international ticket), except that it may be required for the to fax the pertinent pages of his/her passport to the St Petersburg, Russia office (phone +7 (812) 115-6433, Fax +7 (812) 268-2515) If the client has received possession of train tickets, or if tickets are en route in delivery, then it is entirely the responsibility of the client to claim a refund from the issuing office of the tickets (tickets will not be refunded by delivering tickets to the White Nights office).
Air tickets:Air tickets issued for flights in Russia, Central Asian
countries, and China may be cancelled for a 10% penalty, unless otherwise specified at the time of
booking. Conditions for cancellations when air tickets are part of a group-tour package are
specified in the terms for the particular tours (which supercede conditions for individual air ticket
cancellations)
Cruise tickets: Conditions for cancellation of cruise tickets will be
stated in information relayed
for particular cruises (cancellation conditions will vary, depending on the
particular cruise)
Visa support: For cancellation of travel services from White Nights where the normally free-of-charge Russian visa support was provided to clients, there shall be a $25/person fee for the issuance of the Russian visa support (whether utilized or not). Exceptions to the above refund policy can be made on a case-by-case basis.
